Harry Pierce - Biography

Capt. Harry Pierce is a resident of McKinney, Texas and has lived there for over six years. He worked as a pilot for Trans World Airlines for twenty-eight years before retiring. He attended Southern Nazarene University and the University of Central Oklahoma and received a B.S. degree with multiple disciplines of psychology, religion, and aviation. After college he entered U.S. Air Force pilot training and graduated, receiving his wings at Williams Air Force base in Arizona in 1964. He served as a pilot with the Mo. Air National Guard/Air Force Reserve during the Vietnam war era. He considers it a blessing to have been able to serve his country that way. As a commercial pilot and military pilot, Capt. Pierce has logged approximately twenty thousand hours of flight time. As a commercial pilot he flew both international and domestic routes. He has flown nine different types of airplanes and holds Airline Transport ratings on the Boeing 747, Lockheed1011, and the Boeing 727. His hobbies are golf, fishing, hiking and running.

Capt. Pierce is of the Christian faith and this is the basis for his principles and moral beliefs. He has been involved with several Christian ministries over the years and has found great reward in being able to touch other peoples lives in a positive way.
